บทคัดย่อ

In the era of globalization, the preservation and transmission of intangible cultural heritage, particularly traditional practices like tie-dyeing face significant challenges. The study explores the interdisciplinary integration of tie-dye technology into education, community engagement, commerce, cultural tourism, and design art to promote its dynamic development and sustainability. Utilizing a combination of literature review, case studies, and in-depth interviews with practitioners, the research examines the current applications and challenges of tie-dyeing. The findings reveal the potential of merging traditional techniques with modern innovations to enhance cultural value and market competitiveness. Specific tie-dye integration in elementary to higher education, community activities, business collaborations, tourism experiences, and modern art demonstrate the craft's adaptability and contemporary relevance. The study suggests targeted strategies such as enhancing educational programs, implementing product certification, leveraging digital platforms, and fostering international exchanges to boost public awareness and engagement. These recommendations aim to ensure the vibrant continuation and sustainable development of tie-dye practices in modern society. This research provides a valuable reference for the broader protection, inheritance, and innovation of intangible cultural heritage globally, emphasizing the importance of cross-sector collaboration in revitalizing traditional crafts.
