Abstract

The objectives of the research were to 1) study users’ problems and needs on the inventory system of Department of Educational Technology, Faculty of Education, Kasetsart University, 2) design and develop the inventory database management system of Department of Educational Technology, Faculty of Education, Kasetsart University to achieve the appropriate quality, and 3) study the users’ satisfaction on the inventory database management system of Department of Educational Technology, Faculty of Education, Kasetsart University. The population and sample group were 1) System specialist on content design, measurement, and evaluation aspects in a total of 9 persons. 2) Professors and personnel in the Department of Educational Technology in a total of 7 persons. Research instruments were interviews, a Quality assessment form, and a satisfaction questionnaire. The statistics used in data analysis were percentage, mean and standard deviation. The results of the research were shown that 1) there were many problems in the delayed disbursement, and it took a long time to verify the remaining parcels. The users’ requirement was to know the number of parcels remaining and the easy-to-use system. 2) The designed inventory database management system had high quality. ( $gif.latex?\bar{x}$ =4.44, S.D.=0.56) 3) The satisfaction of the users to the designed inventory database management system was high. ( $gif.latex?\bar{x}$ =4.46, S.D.=0.61)
