Attitude of Students towards Teaching and Leaning in Music for Life Quality Course Awanged by Division of Western Music at Thaksin University, Songkhla Campus

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to study the students’ attitude towards Teaching and Leaning in The Music for Life Quality Course offered by Western Music Division of Thaksin University Songkhla Campus in 4 aspects, i.e., curriculum, in instructional activities, teachers, and measurement and evaluation. The sample included 146 students who enrolled in Music for Life Quality course. Data were collected using 5-point rating scale questionnaire and checklist and were statistically analyzed using percentage, mean, and standard deviation. The results revealed that the attitude was at ‘Very Good’ level (gif.latex?\bar{X} = 4.08). After item analysis, teachers were rated with the highest mea (gif.latex?\bar{X} = 4.21) followed by measurement and evaluation (gif.latex?\bar{X} = 4.15), curriculum (gif.latex?\bar{X} = 4.14), and learning activities (gif.latex?\bar{X} = 3.81)
