Abstract

The Traditional Thai Vluslcal Notatlon from the ancient
time didn't have occurred evidence, In the sth reign of His N/aiesty the King'
there were systems in notation by Thai Letter Notation, Letter Notation System, 9
Thai Numerical Letters, and Music Numeral Notation. In the 6th Reign, Cheve's
notation, and 1-7 Numerical Notation were found. For Letter Notation, in the 7th
Reign, there was a blending among the Letter Notation, and Music Letter Notation,
and 9 Thai Numerical Notations for instruction until now, for the development of
Thai Musical Notation system, it consisted of the following processes: the
writing and developing in notation computer notation program as Waterfall
Methodology including 5 steps of cycle. Since Thai Music was important' many
principles in learning, were determined. Specifically, the Thai Music Course I
higher education level, music vocabularies, Thai Letters, English Letters, and
symbols were used for representing the level of music' the presentation of Thai
Musical Notation into universal standard, consisted oI the program characterlstlc'
The song could be able to created based on Traditional Thai N/usical Notatlon'
composed, installment, and steps for working usage' utilization in instruction' as
guidelines for playing in different occasions
