The Creativity of Seree Wangnaitham’s Khon Scripts on Ramakien: A Study Case of Episode Presented Main Content of Sita

Abstract
This article aims to study contents and composition techniques shown the outstanding feature of Seree Wangnaitham’s Khon scripts on Ramakien, episode which presents the main content about Sita. The results found that such Khon scripts are Khon merge with Lakhon Nai ’s scripts consisting of Bot Pak (recitation script), Bot Jaeraja (intoned conversation script) as Khon style and Bot Rong (lyric script) as Thai court drama style and also conserve the Bot Khon Rong Nai’s conventions and traditions principally. Meanwhile, such Khon scripts have variously created features including choosing the content, having a creative composition techniques, naming each episode interestingly, and inserting the elements related to occasion and context of the performance. These make such Khon scripts distinctive in its presentation of old and new Khon script’s features. Therefore, Seree Wangnaitham’s Khon scripts are valuable in inheriting the Khon performance conservatively in Thai contemporary society.
