Strategy Development of Nursing Staff in the Hospital of HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Medical Center

Abstract

This research aimed to 1) study the context performance of nursing personnel the hospital of HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Medical Center, 2) to create a strategy for developing nursing personnel the hospital of HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Medical Center, and 3) to evaluate the appropriateness of the strategy for developing nursing personnel the hospital of HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Medical Center. The sample group used in the study was 266 professional nurses. The data used was a questionnaires then data obtained from the questionnaires were used to create a focus group and synthesized by using Swot Analysis and Tows Matrix techniques. The strategies for developing nursing personnel at HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Medical Center were drafted as follows: 1: Development plan, consisting of 3 sub-strategies; Strategy 2: Revision plan, consisting of 4 sub-strategies; and Strategy 3: Policy plan: consisting of 3 sub-strategies. Strategy 1 and Strategy 2 can be used to improve and improve the development of nursing personnel in terms of training, education and development because it improves the knowledge, ability and skills of personnel to be able to work efficiently, provide services to service users with quality and sustainability. Strategy 3, which is a policy plan, presents strategies to the management team to consider in performance of nursing personnel the hospital of HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Medical Center in making further development plans.
