Abstract

                 This study is a qualitative research. The purpose of education is to study the phenomenon of the alternative education with a case study of "Tairommai School" which is located at Tambon Nongthong, Pabon District, Phatthalung Province. The purpose of this study was to learn about concept, pattern and the result o{ learnjng management. The instrument used were literature review, in-depth interviews the concerned person which is composed of teachers, students, parents and community, a review of data triangulation and participant observation. The research result indicated that learning management is based on idea of Mr, Rapintoranad Takoon, an Indian. lt is a work in Private Development Organization operated by lMr. Sathorn Sompong and lV1rs. Jintana Sompong. lt emphasized on holistic teaching and learning management which focus on needs, interest and readiness of students as prior under the definitions of "Education is knowledge that can make people look through the beautiful, understanding and gently wiih life including their bodies and minds". This was an education for life which emphasized the relationship among themselves, community, social and environment with 4 activities; natural resources, mental, health and agriculture without the limitation of age and gender. There was no collecting fee from the students. Moreover, there was learning period in Saturday, Sunday and the semester break. The results showed that the students are happy and they have freedom to study. They learned the way to live with other people, natural and environment without the limitation of time and no need to test for arrangement the order of learning and no certificate to represent the social class. However, there was only knowledge and happiness which became the powerful spiritual and deeply rooted in their personality and ready to be the  completed human being onwards.
