MANAGEMENT OF HIGH ACHIEVER IN ORDER FOR THEM TO POSSES INCLUSIVE HAPPINESS IN WORK LIFE: A CASE STUDY OF HIGH ACHIEVER IN THAI CIVIL SERVICE

Abstract
The objectives of this study were to (1) study high achievers in Thai Bureaucracy (2) study gross happiness in work life of government officers in High Performance and Potential System (3) study the relationship between high achievers and gross happiness of high achievers (4) to identify the talent management model based on gross happiness. The total number of the sample size of the study was 350. The instruments used were (1) questionnaire (2) in- depth interview (3) focus group discussion. The statistics used to analyze the data were percentage, mean, standard deviation, Canonical Correlation and Path Analysis based on hypothesis. Qualitative research included in-depth interviews, official documents and observation used to support the finding of the study.
Based on hypothesis test to investigate the relationship between high achievers and gross happiness in work life, it was found that talent management had a low relationship with health, talent management had a low relationship with mentality, talent management had a low relationship with economics, talent management had a low relationship with society, and talent management had a moderate relationship with gross happiness. To manage high achievers for improved gross happiness, the organization should focus on encouraging high achievers to realize their potential and contribution to the organization. Factors such as health, mentality and society were integral parts in the promotion of gross happiness in work life of Thai government officers.
