Abstract

This research article are objectives examines to study the adaptation and quality of life of village farmers, capitalist economy and sufficiency economy villages. And the impact of the government’s rice policy on farmers. Choose a research field to be two villages in Suphanburi province. Studied with field research methods in anthropology. Observing And in-depth interviews With research tools as interviews. And analyze the data by means of content analysis


Findings are as follows: (1) Peasant adjustment to capitalist economy. The farming cycle has been adjusted. It is popular to hire large machines and hire workers at almost every step. Use only chemical fertilizers and pesticides. Most of them make rice porridge because there are supporting factors and they are partners with entrepreneurs. And also grow many other plants. (2) Quality of life of farmers, capitalist economy In terms of financial condition, there is a fairly high income. Good turnover But there are many debt borrowers Spend the loan for multiple purposes. In terms of health, farmers had little physical activity. Having dietary habits that are at risk for illness. And (3) The impact of government rice policy on farmers, capitalist economy. Farmers were more willing to farm. Use of farming capital more Neglect cost control Has a large amount of money Purchasing assets leads to additional liabilities. I rarely control expenses and are not kept as savings.
