Extension Workers Development Model for Role in Community Enterprises Extension and Development

Abstract

This research aims to (1) analyze performance related factors of agricultural promotion workers in promotion and development of community enterprises. (2) analyze the role of agricultural promotion workers. (3) synthesize the role of agricultural promotion workers and (4) develop agricultural promotion worker development model for role in community enterprises promotion and development. Population sampling was 334 agricultural promotion workers, and Farmers who were presidents, Vice presidents, secretaries and treasurers. Quantitative and qualitative data analysis were used.


Research results were as follows that the support from the organization (budget, material and management) and the expected role had a positive relationship with the role of agricultural promotion workers in community enterprises at 0.05 statistical significance. The performance role of agricultural promotion workers in overall was in the medium level. Roles of agricultural promotion workers in promotion and development of community enterprises comprises of 3 aspects; change advisers, disseminating academic information, and reinforcement of organization. The agricultural promotion workers development model for the role in community enterprises and development comprises of 3 parts ; self-development by adjusting Growth Mindset, the development of the organization management system which must develop in 3 parts: environment of personnel, commitment of personnel, and human resources development and leaders.
