The Development of a Competency Training Program for Accident Investigatory Personnel for Motor Non-Life Insurance Concerns

Abstract
This research aimed to construct and develop competency training program for motor insurance claim surveyors. The research was divided into three processes namely (1) Study of the competencies necessary for the profession of the inspection of non-life (car accident) insurance through interviews the 374 sampling group and confirming the competencies of the motor insurance claim surveyors by focus group discussion with ten experts (2) Development of the training courses on the competencies necessary for the 3 stages namely; drafting the training course , assessment of the draft training course and development of the draft training course according to the evaluation results of the experts in development of competencies for profession of motor insurance claim surveyors of the non-life (car accident) insurance (3) Assessment of the training courses by testing on 30 non-life (car accident) insurance agents.
The training results revealed that the non-life (car accident) insurance agents had the knowledge testing scores of the statistical significance at the level of .05 in seven competencies namely; knowledge and conditions of the voluntary and compulsory car insurance contract, traffic and relevant laws, evaluation and appraisal of damage, solutions of the problems and decision-making, negotiation, human relations, and communication in English. And the motor insurance claim surveyors of the non-life (car accident) insurance had no different testing scores in competency on the accident inspection.
