The Multiple Mediating Role Effect Of Supply Chain Integration Between Information Technology Capbalility and Firm Performance

Abstract

This research article aims to (1) study the relationship between information technology capability, internal intergration, customers integration, suppliers integration and firm performance of small and medium-sized enterprises in the service sector in Lower Northern Region 1 and (2) examine the multiple mediating roles effect of internal integration, customers integration, and suppliers integration between information technology capability and firm performance. This is a quantitative research study using a questionnaire to collect data from a sample of 325 participants. Descriptive statistics were used to analyze the mean, percentage, standard deviation, and inferential statistics to analyze the structural equation model.


Findings are as follows: (1) the information technology capability has the highest effect on firm performance (TE = .845), followed by suppliers integration (TE = .345), customers integration (TE = .168), and internal integration (TE = .127), respectively. (2) internal integration, customers integration, and suppliers integration as a partial multiple mediator between information technology capability and firm performance, with statistical significance at the .001 level.
