Problems and Development of Research Management Models of the Ministry of Interior

Abstract
This research article aims to study problems and develop research management models within and outside the Ministry of Interior. Use mixed-method research. Data was collected by conducting in-depth interviews with 15 people and conducting questionnaires with 97 people. Data were analyzed descriptively. and use frequency distribution, percentage, mean, and standard deviation. Test for population mean differences and Multiple Regression Analysis.
Findings are as follows: (1) there was a lack of central research methods for internal use. and lack of links to external research. Coordination: It was found that there was a lack of internal research integration. and lack of coordination of knowledge of External budget. (2) Development of research management models There were findings in each area, including Internal research policy has an impact on research management. and adhere to national research policy in accordance with the mission. research organization management Found it necessary to arrange duties The internal structure is clear. and pushing for a department-level research institute. Rules, regulations and research methods found necessary to establish a central research methodology within and research methods according to international standards. Coordination: It was found that the central research coordination center within and inviting outside experts to provide research knowledge is necessary. Suggestions: (1) Research policy should be established to be consistent with the mission. (2) Duties, structures should be managed, and research skills should be developed. (3) A central research methodology should be developed. (4) Research knowledge should be coordinated, and external funding sources.
