Environmental Management Model of Halal Food Community Enterprise in the Southern Border Provinces for Sustainable Development in the Future

Abstract
This research aims to study the environmental management model of Halal food community enterprise in the southern border provinces for sustainable development in the future. This is the futures research using the EDFR (Ethnographic Delphi Futures Research) technique for data collection on the environmental management model of Halal food community enterprise in the southern border provinces for sustainable development in the future. The research tools were the questionnaire for the first round, the one for the second round and the last one for the third round for professionals/experts and entrepreneurs of Halal food community enterprise.
The results indicated that the environmental management model of halal food community enterprise in the southern border provinces can be applied to create a strategy as follows: 1) construction of halal food production factories of the community enterprise that do not affect the environment; 2) supply of raw materials used to produce halal food of the environmentally friendly community enterprise; 3) management/logistics for halal food production of the environmentally friendly community enterprise; 4) cooperation of government and private agencies for the effective working integration; 5) development of personnel in the halal food production of the community enterprise; 6) development and increase in the number of personnel of government agencies to monitor and certify the halal food production of the community enterprise to be accepted; 7) application of Halal Science to enhance the ability to inspect the halal products; 8) an increase in the competitiveness of halal food production of the community enterprise; and 9. an increase in the capacity of the community enterprise in the halal food production.
