The Digital Storytelling Innovation for Transmission Process of Gems Cutting Wisdom Development towards Creative Economy of Chantaburi

Abstract

The objectives of this research and development were: 1) to create the digital storytelling innovation for transmission process of gems cutting wisdom, 2) to try out the digital storytelling innovation, and 3) to develop gems cutting skills towards creative economy of Chantaburi Province. The samples were 60 people. The data were analyzed by using frequency, percentage,
mean, standard deviation, t-test and content analysis. The results of the study were as follows: 1) The digital storytelling innovation for transmission process of gems cutting wisdom comprised video sharing, infographic, motion graphic, web application. Digital storytelling content consists of four processes or 4Ps: (1) Pride & inspiration of Chan gems (2) preparation storytelling of
gemstone cutting (3) production storytelling of gemstone cutting, and (4) post-production storytelling of gemstone cutting. 2) The try out results of digital storytelling innovation by blended training courses indicated that the efficiency of the blended learning model was E1/
E2=86.14/88.86 which follows the criteria. 3) The development result of gems cutting skills towards creative economy of Chantaburi Province found that gem-cutting skills after training were significantly higher than before training at the .05 level.
