ความรู้ความเข้าใจเกี่ยวกับการจัดการขยะมูลฝอยของประชาชนที่อาศัยอยู่ในอำเภอเกาะสมุย จังหวัดสุราษฎร์ธานี

บทความนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) ศึกษาระดับความรู้ความเข้าใจเกี่ยวกับการจัดการขยะมูลฝอยของประชาชน 2) ศึกษาระดับความรู้ความเข้าใจของประชาชนในการจัดการขยะมูลฝอย จำแนกตามปัจจัยส่วนบุคคล และปัจจัย ทางเศรษฐกิจและสังคมของประชาชน บทความนี้เป็นงานวิจัยเชิงปริมาณ (Quantitative Research) เครื่องมือ ที่ใช้ในการศึกษาวิจัยคือแบบสอบถาม กลุ่มตัวอย่างประกอบด้วยประชาชน ที่อาศัยอยู่ในอำเภอเกาะสมุย จังหวัด สุราษฎร์ธานี กำหนดขนาดกลุ่มตัวอย่างตามสัดส่วนของกลุ่มประชากรชั้นต่ำของแต่ละตำบลไม่น้อยกว่า 30 คน รวมทั้งหมด จำนวน 516 คน จาก 3 ชุมชนได้แก่ ชุมชนที่เน้นการค้า บริการ การเกษตรกรรม (ตำบลอ่างทอง ตำบลลิปะน้อย) จำนวน 150 คน ชุมชนที่เน้นวัฒนธรรม-การท่องเที่ยวชุมชน (ตำบลตลิ่งงาม ตำบลหน้าเมือง และตำบลมะเร็ต) จำนวน 165 คน ชุมชนที่เน้นการท่องเที่ยวสมัยใหม่ (ตำบลบ่อผุด ตำบลแม่น้ำ) จำนวน 201 คน เลือกกลุ่มตัวอย่างโดยวิธีการสุ่มอย่างง่ย สถิติที่ใช้วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลได้แก่ ค่เฉลี่ย ค่าเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน การวิเคราะห์ ความแตกต่างระหว่างกลุ่มด้วย Independent Samples t-test และ One-way ANOVA ผลการวิจัยพบว่า 1)ระดับความรู้ความเข้าใจเกี่ยวกับการจัดการขยะมูลฝอยของประชาชนอยู่ในระดับมาก ทั้งในภาพรวม ด้านขยะ และการทิ้งขยะ และด้านการลดขยะ 2) ระดับความรู้ความเข้าใจของประชาชนในการจัดการขยะมูลฝอยเกี่ยวกับด้าน ทิ้งขยะแตกต่างกันตามระดับการศึกษา และมีระดับความรู้ความเข้าใจเกี่ยวกับการคัดแยกขยะแตก ต่างกันจำแนกตามปัจจัยส่วนบุคคล ด้านอายุ และด้านสถานภาพสมรส ส่วนปัจจัยทางเศรษฐกิจและสังคมของ ประชาชน ด้านอาชีพ รายได้เฉลี่ยต่อเดือน และชุมชนที่อยู่อาศัย มีความแตกต่างกันต้านขยะและการทิ้งขยะ และ ด้านการคัดแยกขยะ
