<b>สู่เมืองใหญ่: ปัจจัยในการย้ายถิ่นและการปรับตัวของแรงงานหญิงนวนคร</b><br> Toward a Big City: Causes of Female Laborers’ Migration and their Adjustment in Nava Nakorn Industrial Zone

บทคัดย่อ

The purpose of this article is to present the livings of female laborer in Nava Nakorn Industrial Zone, Pathum Thani Province, in the early period of their migration to the city. The first part is to inquire into the causes of their migration and families’ background. I also discussed with the debate regarding rural Thai women’s migration and argued that there are many reasons not only economic factor, but also cultural factor. The last part focuses on their attempt to adjust themselves in the beginning of working lives in an unfamiliar city. I found that they try to deal with their new environment both by keeping their existing networks and creating new networks in their new settings.

บทความนี้ผู้เขียนต้องการน&#1048866;ำเสนอภาพชีวิต ของแรงงานหญิงในเขตอุตสาหกรรมนวนคร จังหวัด ปทุมธานี ที่เข้ามาท&#1048866;ำงานในระยะเริ่มแรก ส่วนแรกของ บทความได้ย้อนกลับไปถึงมูลเหตุที่ท&#1048866;ำให้คนเหล่านี้ เลือกเข้ามาเป็นแรงงานในระบบอุตสาหกรรมและภูมิ หลังทางครอบครัว รวมทั้งร่วมอภิปรายในข้อถกเถียง เกี่ยวกับการย้ายถิ่นของผู้หญิงจากชนบทในสังคม ไทยมาท&#1048866;ำงานในเมืองใหญ่ และแสดงให้เห็นว่าการ สาเหตุแห่งการย้ายถิ่นนั้นมีหลายปัจจัย ซึ่งไม่ได้จ&#1048866;ำกัด อยู่เฉพาะในปัจจัยเชิงเศรษฐกิจ แต่ยังรวมถึงปัจจัย ทางวัฒนธรรม ในส่วนท้ายบทเป็นการน&#1048866;ำเสนอความ พยายามในการปรับตัวในระยะเริ่มแรกของการเข้า มาท&#1048866;ำงานในเมืองใหญ่ที่ไม่คุ้นเคย ทั้งการรักษาความสัมพันธ์ที่มีอยู่เดิมและสร้างเครือข่ายความสัมพันธ์ ใหม่ในพื้นที่ใหม่
