MISSION–ONENTED PRACTICES AND DEMING CYCLE MANAGEMENT AFFECTING PERFORMANCE EFFECTIVENESS OF PROVINCIAL POLICE OFFICERS IN PHICHIT

Abstract

The quantitative and qualitative research aims 1) to study factor level of Mission – Onented Practices affecting to performance effectiveness of Provincial Police officers in Phichit Province, 2) to study factor level of Deming Cycle Management Affecting Performance Effectiveness of Provincial Police officers in Phichit Province, and 3) Guidelines for administrative management affecting to performance effectiveness of Provincial Province in Phichit Province. By Using quantitative research and supplement with qualitative data. The sample of this study were 283 police officers of provincial province in Phichit province. The research instruments were questionnaires, interviews and focus group discussions. The data be analyzed for the content of police officers, community leaders, citizens and 12 qualified persons, were statistically analyzed by using Frequency, Percentage, Average, Standard Deviation, and Multiple Regression Analysis.

The study results showed that; 1) Factor level of Mission – Onented Practices were in the high level. When considered individually, it was found that Building security confidence, A good example for the community, and strictly performing duties were at high level respectively. 2) Factor level of Deming Cycle Management were in the high level. When considered individually, it was found Appropriate operations, audit results, mission monitoring, and the planning were at high level respectively 3) Guidelines for administrative management affecting to performance effectiveness of Provincial Province in Phichit Province have the statistical significance at the .01 level, with the predictor of operational effectiveness, the management forecast were 63.7 percent.
