The Threat Tendency on Information Technology of the Royal Thai Armed Forces

Abstract

At present, information technology role has become increasingly on every circle and an important tool for every field such as military, national security, political, and governmental.  Therefore, national strategy and military strategy need to be change according to the threat tendency on information technology of the Royal Thai Armed Forces.  There has been a focus on the vulnerability of the systems to internet attacks to the governmental offices.   

          Research findings stated that threat was actually come from two sources.  The first source is from an external threat which is the attack from outside of the network.  Secondly, the attack is from inside the network.  In which this threat posing more dangerous to the system. Because the attacker is the one who works inside the premises.
