Abstract

The Article Title “The Transition Point of Leadership Development in the 21st Century: A Case Study of Singapore Armed Force”. The Objective of Article was to Present the Principle, Concept and the Processes to Develop Leadership in the 21st Century. The Selected Sample was Singapore Armed Force, which the Principle, Concept and the Processes to Develop Leadership were Very Interesting and Transformed from the Old Practical style. This was a Leading Change in the 21st Century in This Region, and Because of the Context, Environment, Culture and Population Life Style was Close Proximity to Thailand. Singapore Armed Force has Focused on Developing Leadership for Almost Three Decades. But there was a Turning Point in the Concept after the Case of Terrorism in the United States: September 11, 2001. The Singapore Armed Force Established the Military Leadership Development Institute in 2002. So, the Development of Troops Became to All levels Throughout the Operational Period. As a Transition Point, which was Focus on the Development of Leadership Those Who Have the Leadership Position Instead of Developing Thoroughly in order to Achieve Efficiency, Continuity and Sustainable.

For Thailand, Royal Thai Air Force has Perennially  Emphasized on the Development of personnel. It is One of the Principle Factors that Make the Royal Thai Air Force Stronger, has win the war Rather than Modern Technology and Tactical Armament. Royal Thai Air Force Take Attention to personnel Development, which Drive and Develop the Royal Thai Air Force in Advance. The personnel need to have Quality Developed With Continuous Training. In Order to Become a Professional Military, Code of Conduct and Leadership. So the Leadership Development is not Limited to those in Leadership Positions, But to Build Leadership for All Levels. Because the Leadership is Considered a Fundamental Factor for All personnel.
