Circular Economy is an economy in which resources are planned for the entire production system in order to be restored and reused and to cope with the shortage of resources in the future. The concept of circular economy in the context of industrial sector is the development that will produce balanced growth in all aspects not only economics but also considering the social and environmental dimensions. It aims at adjusting the production structure from the old model that may affect society and the environment to a new model that considers the cost-effective and comprehensive use of resources from production, consumption, waste management and the recycling of raw materials, which will help reduce environmental problems, reduce waste and create economic value-added to the country at the same time. As for the context of the Thai industrial sector, there is a framework for development in four areas: production, consumption, waste management. and the use of secondary raw materials. Successful development of Thai industrial sector according to the concept of circular economy requires policy support from the government (Top down) and changing the behavior of businesses and consumers (Bottom up).
