The objective of this article for study and analyze of the "Guidelines for the protection of family rights of same - sex couples" found that Thailand has signed on to ratify and uphold the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women ( The Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW) and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights reaffirm the key principle that: “Discrimination is unacceptable”, which the Constitution of the Kingdom of Thailand B.E. 2560 provides to protect human dignity, rights, liberties and equality of persons shall be protected And the Gender Equality Act, B.E. that separates, excludes or limits benefits, whether directly or indirectly without righteousness because the person is male or female or has expressions that are different from their natural sex In foreign countries, there are more than 28 countries that have enacted laws protecting the rights of same-sex couples by allowing same-sex marriage “But Thailand does not have any laws or measures to protect the rights of same-sex couples To ensure and protect the rights of individuals and family rights equal to the family of men and women in general Although” Thailand has made efforts to protect reproductive rights and has had sex reassignment surgery for more than 50 years, and has requested the government to certify gender identity as the gender of the surgery Transgender and having same-sex couples living together as husband and wife a lot It may affect what will happen if Thailand does not have laws or measures to solve this issue on the issue of human rights violations and non-compliance with the Constitution This means that it cannot drive the mission of reducing inequality and creating gender equality Achieve results that end all forms of discrimination in accordance with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially Goal 5, Achieving gender equality as well as affecting national strategies that are unable to achieve results in creating opportunities and social equality on the issue of promoting gender equality.
