Integration : The military field funeral arrangements to help people in severe disasters

Abstract

According to the current situation, people around the world have to confront with the risks of disasters such as earthquake, flood, wildfire, landslide, chemical spill areas, Tsunami, etc. When this disaster happened, it results in the loss of both lives and properties. especially people who die in these disaster areas. For example, when Tsunami, huge wave hit Thailand on December 26,2004. 5,400 dead bodies have been found and it hugely necessary to take responsibility as the authorities manage deceased bodies property when there is a disaster. There should be a clear action plan, good management and cooperation form authorities to authorities. For Quartermaster Department, Royal Thai Army plays a role in funeral management which is responsible in processing only the bodies of soldiers who passed away during the war. If the government brings the model of the management of deceased bodies of soldiers in the war to be carried out for the funeral of the victims of disaster by either developing a plan or setting a guideline for the whole process and work with other authorities in order to classify a common standard including international cooperation in managing the risks of disasters around the world that relieve difficult situation more effectively. It is essential that managing masses of deceased bodies is much important to authorities responsible for these issues. There should be a clear plan, good management and cooperation between relevant authorities.
