The evaluation of government projects in Ang Thong province

Abstract

          The objectives of this research aimed to 1) evaluate the government projects in Ang Thong province for 2021 fiscal year, and 2) study the administrative suggestions on the government projects in Ang Thong province. The sample used in this research consisted of 404 participants in Ang Thong province, aged 18 years and over by proportional randomization using accidental sampling. The instrument for data collection was a questionnaire. The statistics used for the data analysis were frequency, percentage, standard deviation, and content analysis.


          The evaluation results of the government projects were as follows. 1) The evaluation of the healthy and sustainable city development was appropriate at the high level, and had an impact at the moderate level. 2) The product development throughout world class standard was appropriate at the high level, and had an impact at the moderate level. 3) The support cultural tourism project was appropriate at the high level, and had an impact at the moderate level. In terms of the administrative suggestions on the government projects, the findings were as follows. 1) The policy on healthy and sustainable city development should emphasize the urban green space to create urban recreation areas. 2) The product development throughout  world class standard should realize the policy on a marketing plan to enhance the agricultural distribution and community products via online model to increase the distribution channels in Ang Thong province. 3) The support of cultural tourism project should boost the New Normal policy with social distancing and a safety protection system between entrepreneurs and tourists in Ang Thong province. The policy on image building in Ang Thong province has been promoted with a safety tourism policy due to the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic.
