Abstract

ปัญหาสิ่งแวดล้อมที่เกิดขึ้นกับประชาคมโลกมีอยู่อย่างมากทั้งในอากาศ น้ำ หรือใต้ดิน เช่นมลพิษทางอากาศ น้ำทิ้งจากแหล่งชุมชนความเสื่อมโทรมของดินซึ่งปัญหาที่ก่อให้เกิดความเสื่อมโทรมของสิ่งแวดล้อมต่างๆ เกี่ยวข้องกับมนุษย์ทั้งทางตรงและทางอ้อมมนุษย์ต่างเพียรพยายามแก้ไขโดยมุ่งเน้นการเรียนรู้และนาหลักการหรือแนวทางที่เรียนรู้ไปประยุกต์ใช้แก้ไขจวบจนปัจจุบันแต่ยังคงแก้ปัญหาไม่ดีเท่าที่ควรประเด็นอาจเพราะไม่ใช่หลักการหรือแนวทางแก้ปัญหาที่ถูกต้องมนุษย์ควรลองปรับเปลี่ยนระบบความคิดและการกระทำโดยการมองย้อนกลับมายังภายในหรือที่ตัวเองและพร้อมปรับเปลี่ยนพฤติกรรมของตนตามพุทธวิธีและแนวทางของผู้เผยแพร่ศาสนาที่นำเสนอในบทความนี้สิ่งแวดล้อมที่เสื่อมโทรมจึงจะมีโอกาสฟื้นตัวได้เพราะปัญหาความเสื่อมโทรมด้านสิ่งแวดล้อมต้องแก้ที่ปัญหาการบริโภคเกินความจำเป็นซึ่งในแง่ของพุทธศาสนาเกี่ยวข้องกับความพอดีในจิตสำนึกของมนุษย์Buddhist Response to Environmental Degradation
