Abstract

The spreading of the Covid-19 is a global crisis and causes impacts to individuals, society and culture and politics profoundly and inevitably. Southern border provinces are also hit by those impacts but there are some interesting dimensions in terms of virus spreading patterns in the southern border areas and management of the crisis by local government sectors and people in which government authority, medical and public health principles, religious and security issues are integrated. Although control of the virus spreading is currently effective, people are still living under distress as they do not really know when war with the virus will end.
