Abstract

In Pattani, a group of returned attendants from an Islamic religious activity in Malaysia, including those who are in close contact with, have been under special surveillance to control the spread of COVID-19. Pattani Province, through its Communicable Disease Committee, has issued an order prohibiting cross-province travel and travel control over communities at risk of outbreaks, affecting the lives of people immensely. Under the panic, there are still corporations of government, private companies, and people to not leaving anyone behind, including food supplying and providing equipment to prevent contamination of COVID-19 to the frontliners - medical and public health personnel and officials involved in screening large numbers of people in different places -and to all people who can not travel out of their own communities. Besides, PSU Pattani, through its PN PSU Volunteer Center, acts as a major force in support of various parties to halt the spread of COVID -19. The epidemic, though, seems to have a declining trend, a new normal is something we have to keep practicing; wearing a mask, social distancing, washing hands regularly, avoiding public and crowded areas, and living
consciously.
