Editorial Policy

1. Articles submitted in SPURHS must fall within one of the subject areas specified in the journal’s aims and scope. The accepted subject areas include:
(1) General Arts and Humanities
(2) General Business, Management and Accounting
(3) General Social Sciences

2. Submitted manuscripts must be original works that have not been previously published and are not under consideration by any other journal.

3. All submitted manuscripts will undergo an initial quality screening by the editorial board to assess their relevance and alignment with the journal’s objectives. This assessment is carried out under two possible scenarios:

3.1 If a manuscript fails to pass the initial screening, the editorial board will issue a rejection notice along with brief comments, suggestions, or observations. In such cases, the author is not required to pay article processing charge.

3.2 If a manuscript passes the initial screening, the author is required to pay an article processing charge of 6,000 THB per article. The manuscript will then be forwarded to three peer reviewers in relevant fields for academic evaluation. The journal follows a double-blind peer review process, in which reviewers are unaware of the author's identity and vice versa. The operation fee must be paid via bank transfer only.

3.3 Peer review will be conducted by three external experts who specialize in the manuscript’s field of study are affiliated with various institutions outside Sripatum University and are not affiliated with the author(s)

4. After the peer review process is complete the editorial board will decide whether the manuscript should be Accepted for publication, Returned for revision (Major/Minor Revision), or Rejected.

5. All types of submitted articles will undergo a plagiarism check using ThaiJo-CopyCatch system, and the similarity index must not exceed 20%

6. The editorial board reserves the right to make final decisions on all submitted manuscripts and will not issue refunds under any circumstances.
