บทคัดย่อ
การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาระดับการมีส่วนร่วมในการพัฒนาศักยภาพและอนุรักษ์ แหล่งท่องเที่ยวเชิงประวัติศาสตร์ จังหวัดสุรินทร์ และเพื่อจัดทำแผนพัฒนาศักยภาพและการอนุรักษ์แหล่งท่องเที่ยวเชิงประวัติศาสตร์แบบมีส่วนร่วมของชุมชน จังหวัดสุรินทร์ กลุ่มเป้าหมายคือ ประชาชนในพื้นที่ที่ตั้งปราสาทศีขรภูมิ ปราสาทบ้านพลวงและปราสาทภูมิโปน เครื่องมือวิจัย คือ แบบสอบถามการมีส่วนร่วมและแบบตรวจสอบรายการ สถิติที่ใช้ได้แก่ ค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐานและการวิเคราะห์เนื้อหา ผลวิจัยพบว่า 1) ระดับการมีส่วนร่วมในการพัฒนาศักยภาพและอนุรักษ์แหล่งท่องเที่ยวเชิงประวัติศาสตร์ปราสาท ศีขรภูมิ ภาพรวมการมีส่วนร่วมน้อย(x̄ = 2.29 ; S.D. = 0.78) ปราสาทบ้านพลวง ภาพรวมการมีส่วนร่วมมาก (x̄ = 3.82 ; S.D. = 0.50) และปราสาทภูมิโปน ภาพรวมการมีส่วนร่วมปานกลาง (x̄ = 2.94 ; S.D. = 0.67) และ 2) แผนพัฒนาศักยภาพและการอนุรักษ์แหล่งท่องเที่ยวเชิงประวัติศาสตร์ใช้กระบวนการจัดทำแผนแบบมีส่วนร่วม (A-I-C) ของทั้ง 3 ปราสาท ประกอบด้วย 4 แผนหลัก โดยปราสาทศีขรภูมิ จำนวน 14 โครงการ ปราสาทบ้านพลวง จำนวน 11 โครงการและปราสาทภูมิโปน จำนวน 11 โครงการ
