Project evaluation of vocational skills and promotion of income generation for youth people in the school of Don Chimplee Bang Nam Priao District Chachoengsao Province.

Abstract

The research aims 1) to evaluate the vocational skills development projects and income generation promotion for young people in the school of Don-Chimplee Bang-Nampriao District, Chachoengsao and 2) to study guidelines for developing vocational skills development projects and income generation promotion for young people in the school of Don-Chimplee Bang-Nampriao District, Chachoengsao. By using the CIPP Model assessment based on 4 issues, namely context, input factors, process side, and output side. The population used in the research was divided into 1) The population that provides quantitative data were educational institution administrators, and teachers assigned to participate in all activities of the project, 9 schools and teachers were responsible for the project,  a total of 90 people. 2) The population that provided qualitative information was educational institution administrators and teachers assigned to carry out work related to the project together with teachers responsible for the project, a total of 23 people. The tools used in the research were: 1) questionnaire was a questionnaire asking opinions about project evaluation in 3 areas: context, input factors, and process check content validity by analyzing the consistency of the objectives with the questions according to the opinions of 5 experts (IOC), the IOC was between .80 - 1.00. 3) structured interview, which consists of questions regarding project development guidelines. The content validity was checked by analyzing the index for the consistency of the objectives with the questions according to the opinions of 5 experts (IOC). The index of consistency was between .80 – 1.00.The results were found: 1) results of the assessment of the vocational skills development projects and income generation promotion for young people in the school of Don-Chimplee Bang-Nampriao District, Chachoengsao 4 aspects: context, input factors, process side the overall picture was at a high level with averages equal to 4.15, 4.22, and 4.14, respectively. As for the production side, the production was in line with every set goal.  2) Guidelines for project development were summarized as follows. 2.1) Contextual aspects should be concrete and continuous projects that link with the community to create cooperation in all sectors. 2.2) Input factors, the additional course curriculum developed should be used to build on the research process as well as the work of teachers in the future. 2.3) The process aspect should find ways to proactively supervise in order to further develop the vocational skills formula and put the curriculum into practice. 2.4) In terms of production, various approaches should be found in developing the developed products/goods, to create continuous income.
