Abstract
This research aims at investigating the problem of majority rule with a case study of discourse in Thai politics during 2001-2014. This research is documentary research and In-debt interview by using critical theory and discourse analysis. The study aimed to understand the problem of majority rule in Thai politics between 2001-2014. The results of the study were as follow: The problem of majority rule in Thai politics during 2001-2014 was the problem of different subjective between the discourse of Thainess and the political discourse that was shaped in Thaksin Shinawatra period. Lead to the problem of political polarization and obstacles in seeking a way out of political conflicts until today.
