A Development of the Enhancement Model of Elderly Persons Life Quality through Buddhist Participation

Abstract
The research article on a Development of the enhancement Model of Elderly Person’s Life Quality through Buddhist Participation. The objectives of this research is 1) to study the quality of life needs and to the enhancement model of elderly person’s life quality through Buddhist participation and 2) to analysis and Development of the enhancement Model of Elderly Person’s Life Quality through Buddhist Participation. Proceed by using Participatory Action Research (PAR), according to the conceptual framework of Horton and Zacharakis (1987). The results of this research show as follows:
The Study of quality of life needs and the enhancement model of elderly persons life quality through Buddhist participation, Data were collected by in-depth interviews and group discussions. The study indicated that the elderly person who provide key informant, have a need for social support areas for use as a useful source of activities to promote quality of life. Therefore, activities are provided. “Creating good health for the Buddhist way” by applying the policy of the District Public Training Unit of the Sangha Association, 2006 to support the use of the area of the temple in the community for carrying out activities under the project “A Development of Buddhist Health Promotion Measures”
Analysis and Development of the enhancement Model of Elderly Person’s Life Quality through Buddhist Participation Processed by content analysis method to process-oriented knowledge groups, participatory-Buddhist interaction groups. The research found that Processes created from Buddhist integration It is characterized by a group of positive interaction processes, such as “The 5-C Cycle”, which consists of an action plan and techniques that are suitable for the management of knowledge for enhancing the quality of life for the elderly.
