Abstract

The objectives of this research were as follows: 1) to study the process of community development according to the king’s philosophy of Ban Tung Charoen, Phra Kaew Sub-district, Sangkha District, Surin Province; 2) to integrate Buddhist principles and the king’s philosophy in community development according to the king’s philosophy of Ban Tung Charoen, PhraKaew Sub-district, Sangkha District, Surin Province and 3) to strengthen the community development network according to the King's philosophy in Phra Kaew Sub-district, Sangkha District, Surin Province. by using an action research method (Participation Action Research) and collect data from 30 key informants.by qualitative research. From the research study, it was found that the process of community development according to the king’s philosophy of Ban Tung Charoen, Phra Kaew Sub-district, Sangkha District, Surin Province, involves surveying and analyzing community problems. Make a plan for community development according to the King's philosophy. Make a project for community development according to the King's philosophy. Follow up and evaluate the project performance. And analyze the project performance. The integrative of Buddhist principles and the King's philosophy in community development according to the King's philosophy It is an integration of donation, precepts and meditation, which are important principles of Buddhism together with the King's philosophy on self-reliance, and living under the philosophy of sufficiency economy. At present, the community lives and operates on the basis of the King's philosophy, including organic farming. Khok Nong Na Project. At the same time, there is a moral principle as a mental anchor. This has been encouraged and supported by community leaders and abbots. Strengthening the network of community development according to the King's philosophy, the community has entered into a Memorandum Of Understanding (MOU) with the following agencies: 1) Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University 2) Ban Nong Khu Community, Sangkha District, Surin Province 3) Khok Nong Na Project, Ban Kra Pho, Samrong Thap District Surin Province and 4) Surin Natural Agricultural Center, Ban Nong Bon, Rattanaburi District Surin Province. The network between people in the community has been strengthened by bringing together people in the community, such as having a community enterprise. Having a club for the elderly and creating a line group to listen to the opinions of people involved and people in the community on various matters.
