Active Learning Process according to Iddhipada iv to Development Motivation Learning in Soc ia lStudies, Religion and Culture Subject Group of Mathayom Suksa v Students at Mathayom Prachaniwet School under the Bangkok Metropolitan

Abstract

This article aims to study active learning process that strengthens learning motivation in social studies, religion and culture subject group of MathayomSuksa v Students from model teachers with good practices and to develop active learning process according to Iddhipada iv of social studies, religion and culture subject group of mathayomsuksa v students at MathayomPrachaniwet school under the Bangkok Metropolitan. Results of the research were shown as follows : There was active learning process in 6 steps; 1) teachers create interest in children by using activities to encourage students to be awake, 2) teachers give experience to students by giving problems that are problematic in today's society for students to diligently think, seeking information, intend to find new knowledge and new ideas 3) teachers use activities to motivate students, such as role-playing, in-class game activities, 4) teachers create new knowledge by creating questions and asking students to design and find answers, 5) teachers teach by training students to exchange knowledge together such as class discussion, thinking-matching-exchanging, 6) teachers evaluate learning by allowing students to evaluate the learning  of their peers in the class together. The students had different levels of active learning according to Iddhipada IV statistically significant difference were found at 0.05. The other side is Chanda (concentration of effort), which is diligence before activities and after activities are not different. which rejects the hypothesis, as for Chanda (concentration of aspiration), Citta (concentration of consciousness), Vimamsa (concentration of investigation), had shown significant difference at the .05
