Methodology for Realizing Avidyā or Ignorance in the Views of Mādhyamika and Yogācāra School

Abstract

Power was a thing that existed side by side with a public administration. A society that had a public administration would use power. The desired power was called the right power (Dhammavasa). A state that had no millionaire will be poor. The king who ruled the state would therefore seek to import a millionaire or an heir of a millionaire from other state or states. He did so in order to get some help from the imported millionaire to develop the economic system and trades in his state. The millionaire at the time of the Buddha had a position of government officer and was appointed by the king. He would serve the king as his economic advisor and help him to deal with taxation.
