BUDDHIST BASED COMMUNITY MOBILIZATION THROUGH POWERFUL PARTICIPATION OF FAMILY - TEMPIE – COMMUNITY IN SARAPHI DISTRICT, CHIANG MAI PROVINCE

Abstract

The objectives of this thesis are: 1.) to study the area condition in driving the Buddhist community through participation in the power of Bor-Wor-Chor in Saraphi District; Join forces with Bor-Wor-Chor in Saraphi District. 3.) To present the model of driving the Buddhist community through participation of Bor-Wor-Chor in Saraphi District. This research was a qualitative research, a documentary research. in-depth interview and group discussion of 25 figures/person by descriptive analysis.The results showed that Driving by bringing the identity of the community in the Buddhist way of life in 12 sub-districts in Saraphi District. Can be divided into 2 groups: Lanna Buddhist community that is the indigenous way of life and the other is an ethnic group. who migrated to Lanna  In each village community in the district of the rib area, the Buddhist community Every Buddhist community has a unique identity. whether the language dress food and has a unique culture and tradition Dharma principles for enhancing community identity in the Buddhist way Buddhists in Lanna By dividing the group of Dharma principles into 4 groups, which are dharma principles consisting of 4 noble truths, netidhamma consisting of ditthammikattha benefits, and 5 precepts, materialistic principles consisting of 4 Sappaya principles, 4 Saha Dhamma principles consisting of 4 Sangahavattha. Driving to strengthen the identity of the Buddhist community Lanna Buddhists with Dharma can be concluded that There are 2 parts to strengthen together, namely, 12 sub-district Buddhist communities in Saraphi District. Buddhists in Lanna have become aware of the prevailing dharma which is the norm for their practice as Buddhists. and Buddhist community Lanna Buddhists are aware of the value that is beneficial to living. Preserving the traditional culture as well. Driving style To strengthen the identity of the Buddhist community in 12 model sub-districts in Saraphi District, Lanna Buddhists The body of knowledge can be summarized as MCC MODEL, which consists of Norm, which is custom, Tradition, which is tradition, Actualting, which is the current reality, Peace is peace, Pilo is the movement towards everything, whether it is people or objects that are valuable to life. Thus, the identity of the Lanna Buddhist Buddhist community is strong and has been passed down to the present day.
