School Administration towards Excellence in the 21st Century by School Administrators Under the Phang Nga Provincial Office of Learning Encouragement

Abstract

This research aims to study School Administration towards Excellence in the 21st Century by School Administrators and to explore guidelines for developing this approach. The study population consisted of 119 individuals, along with 5 experts selected through purposive sampling. Data was analyzed using mean, standard deviation, and content analysis.

The research findings indicate that the is at the School Administration towards Excellence in the 21st Century by School Administrators highest level. When considering individual aspects, the majority were at the highest level, as follows: focusing on 21st-century excellence in operations; followed by prioritizing service recipients and stakeholders towards 21st-century excellence; strategic planning towards 21st-century excellence; and personnel-focused towards 21st-century excellence, in that order. The aspect with the lowest mean score was measurement, analysis, and knowledge management towards 21st-century excellence.

Recommendations for development include: 1) developing a central database system capable of collecting and displaying real-time overview data; 2) developing a central information system for the office to serve as the main platform for linking and integrating data from all educational institutions into a single system; and 3) developing a central electronic learning resource repository. 4) Continuous academic training should be provided to build teachers' competencies and expertise in enhancing their knowledge in academic development. 5) Promote self-worth among teachers and staff through appreciation of their work, encouragement, and positive reinforcement. 6) Emphasize the importance of developing a high-speed internet network to cover all service areas. 7) Create an up-to-date internal research database within the educational institution.
