The Construction of Long-term Health Care model for Elderly Through the Interdisciplinary Community in Plaichumpol Sub-district Muangpitsanulok District, Phitsanulok Provinces

Abstract

              Research on "The Interdisciplinary community and the construction of long-term care for the elderly Plai Chumphon Subdistrict Municipality, Phitsanulok province." Research Methodology by Qualitative Research which is Documentary Research by reviewing relevant literature and using field studies which interviews, focus group discussion, participant observation and in-depth interview. The objective is to review the roles of multidisciplinary careers in long-term health care for the elderly.                   To stimulate the learning process and knowledge in the development of long-term care for the elderly And to propose guidelines and policy recommendations for long-term elderly care in other areas and communities.

              The findings from the research that The construction of a long-term care team for the elderly in Plai Chumphon Subdistrict Municipality Beginning with the cremation group. Also, in the community that is outstanding about the participation of the elderly. Because in the community there are strong elderly schools Social activities are created that can attract populations and volunteers to meet and interact at all times. Which comes from the activities of both the Subdistrict Administration Organization  and the Plaichumpol Health Promotion Hospital or even the Villedge Health Volunteer (VHV) of the month. Considered as an important factor that makes the network stronger In which such activities are all factors that attract community members to join the group.

              In addition, the main thing is The use of religious organizations here is the "temple" which is the center of the minds of the people in the community to participate in driving the Long-term Care, a unique phenomenon that can be a model area for other communities Which beginning from the project “Alms to Suffering” (Bin Ta Baht Kwam Thook) Together with personnel in the long-term health care system of Phlai Chumphon community. And developed as an important part of being a network of health care both physically and spiritually at the same time in Plai Chumphon Subdistrict Municipality, which is a role model for long-term health care for other communities.
