Abstract
The objectives of this research article were 1) to study the decision to vote for the members of the House of Representatives on the March 24, 2019, election of Muslims in Surat Thani Province. 2) to study the factors and leadership related to the decision to vote for the members of the House of Representatives on the March 24, 2019, election of Muslims in Surat Thani Province. This research is a mixed method including quantitative and qualitative methodology. The sample group used in the study was Muslims people with the right to vote for members of the House of Representatives on the March 24, 2019, election, with 400 respondents. The tool used was a questionnaire. Statistics used to analyze the data were percentage, mean, standard deviation, and a correlation test with a Quisque square
The research results showed that 1) the decision to vote for the members of the House of Representatives on the March 24, 2019, election of Muslims in Surat Thani Province. The overall is moderate. 2) The results of the hypothesis test found that the factors influencing the decision to vote for members of the House of Representatives election were gender, status, and political news awareness. Applicant's eligibility, applicant's policy, political parties that MPs belong to, campaigning and public relations and candidate election campaigner and the factors influencing the decision to vote the members of the House of Representatives election of Muslims in Surat Thani Province were age, education level, income and benefits or remuneration.
