The Potential of Local Leaders to Increase Efficiency in Community Domination, Management, and Development in the Area of Mae Taeng District, Chiang Mai Province

Abstract

This article had two objectives including 1) to study the behavioral potential of social expression, work of domination, community management  and development and 2) to investigate the developmental success model that results from social expression and behavior, domination, management, and development. This article was qualitative research, and there were 90 key informents.

Research results found that local leaders in Mae Taeng District, Chiang Mai Province had quite good social expression behavior through thinking behavior. Besides, expression of manners such as domination, management, and community development with efficiency and effectiveness using the knowledge, ability, experience, and potential of local leaders related to social coexistence, domination, community management and development. Some local leaders had adopted the technique, tool, management strategy, and information technology applied to work, coordinate, and create development cooperation networks. In addition, research results on concrete success found that the results of working at full potential still the effects were efficiency and effectiveness of local leaders led to concrete success dominance and maintaining peace which make people safe in life and property. Moreover, the concrete success in developing the community's grassroots economy, community public health, natural resources and environment, and social aspects created role models, community organization group models, community enterprise group models, and subdistrict and village models that be able to a source of learning for individuals, groups, communities, organizations, and educational institutions both inside and outside the community.
