A Development Design Learning Book on Analytical Thinking for Product Design

The research aims to develop a book learning design. The thinking to products design. To create process design that is easy to understand, with illustrations by the content. The objectives of this research are 1) to develop lesson for design; 2) to evaluate satisfaction toward contents; 3) to compare study results between old learning book and newly developed learning book. The population and sample group consist of 30 second-yearpostgraduates of Industrial Product Design Program, King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang in the academic year 2/2014. For testing efficiency of design lesson through results during learning and after learning, the t-test dependent is used for statistical analysis. Meanwhile, the research tools are teaching documents on analytical thinking for product design, learning result test and evaluation form for content satisfaction. ¯ X ¯ X ศิลปกรรมสาร 107 Application of the principle lessons: 1) planning, 2) design lessons. 3) Create a lesson 4) evaluate and modify lesson. The findings indicate that 1) the efficiency of lesson on analytical thinking for product design equals to 86.00:89.67, which complies with the specified criteria as 80:80; 2) the learning result after learning with lesson on analytical thinking for design is higher than the result before learning with statistical significance at 0.05; 3) the satisfactory result of the experiment using the new learning documents is high ( =4.47, S.D.=0.53) (n=6) and the satisfactory result of content assessment is high ( =4.02, S.D.=0.57) (n=3)Abstract
