Abstract

From the sericulture cultural wisdom and weaving to the innovative that relay to a creative works response to the people in country needs. The Queen Sirikit Department of Sericulture to conducted project developed patterned fabrics and Thai silk products. In case study, Bann Non Sa-ard weaving group, Tambon Bann Koo, Ampher Hua Saphan, Buriram Province. The objectives are : 1. To study the cultural wisdom which involves the weaving, traditional patterned and the weaving in each local. 2. To study the process of fabric production, the cost of production and silk production in the target area. 3. To Development silk’s patterned and design, prepare a prototypes pattern. To exemplify development patterned fabrics to the farmers who produce the fabrics. The study and implementation of the project found that the patterned fabrics of this group are hook pattern, Naga pattern and lantern pattern as a traditional pattern. Combination pattern of the shapes vegetables from the occupation grow organic vegetables garden, Help each other of community as a unique pattern. Mudmee using weaving techniques to create the pattern to respond to the market, consumers have become more widespread. Will maintain the wisdom Thai silk to add value and remain sustainable in the consumer market.
