Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • The author must sign the submission confirmation form for publishing in The Fine and Applied Arts Journal. The form can be downloaded at แบบฟอร์ม

Author Guidelines

Articles should be 15-30 pages (A4) in length.

Thai articles should use “Angsana New” or “Cordia New” fonts.  Article title should be 18 in font size and bold.  Sub-titles should be 16 in font size and bold.  Author’s name, abstract, and content should be 16 in font size.

English articles should use “Times New Roman” font.  Article title should be 16 in font size and bold.  Author’s name, abstract, and content should be 14 in font size.  Sub-titles should be 14 in font size and bold.

Research articles: should follow academic research guidelines; have clear objectives, materials, methods, findings, analysis, and conclusion

Creative research articles: should follow creative research guidelines; have clear objectives, materials, methods, creative process, findings, analysis, and conclusion

Academic articles: can be an analysis, critique, or proposal of new methods or ideas; can be written from the author’s own academic work or can be written to provide knowledge to general readers

Review articles: can be an analysis, critique, or comparison of theories or fine arts phenomena; roles and effects on academic world

References

All references cited in the article should be the “Author-Date” format, consisting of the author’s last name, year of publication, and page.  A reference list at the end of the article is arranged alphabetically by the author’s last name, using APA (American Psychological Association) format. 

Book:

Format: Author. Year. Title. Edition. Place of Publication: Publisher.

Journal article:

Format: Artist. Title. Year. Gallery/Museum, City.

Music/Performing Arts:

Format. Artist. Title. Year. Place. City.

Electronic Sources:

Format: Author, Year, Title (CD-ROM). Place: Year of Making.

Format: Year, Title (Online) Year of Publication (Date of Access)

Research Article
