Abstract

The research objectives were: 1) to study context factor process methods and the
result of usage innovation Lesson Study and Open Approach; and 2) to study the
administrator’s role in implementing educational innovation to practice. This research was
quality research and quantitative research. The population and sample used in this study
were school administrators, teachers of the basic education board, and parents, 122
persons in total. The tools used to collect information, included an interview questionnaire
and open questions. Quantitative data analysis used descriptive statistics and qualitative
content analysis. The statistics used in data analysis were mean and standard deviation.
The results of the research were as follows. 1) In the context of Kukampittayasan School
being used as a pilot school for using innovative classroom education, by the University of
Khon Kaen, under the dream school project of the Basic Education Commission Office,
factors included a budget allocation for the innovative use of schools, by providing
facilities, such as media, equipment and buildings. There were outside experts from higher
education institutions. In the process of innovation, the process of innovative planning was
planned with schedule calendars, co-creation of learning management plans, observation
of classes and the effect of learning management. Administrators participated in every
innovative process, and from the results of the use of innovation, schools were selected as
innovative models. From Khon Kaen University, a study visit from educational agencies, and
teachers from all over the country, teachers changed their teaching behavior. They were
taught to respond to the needs of students, teamwork, teacher professional development,
learning, to have self-confidence, and leadership. Educational institutions had their own
character and strong internal supervision system. They were learning organizations striving
for community satisfaction and involvement, 2) Most of the respondents agreed that the
role of the administrators in all 4 aspects had very high results. Most of the respondents
agreed that in each factor, it was found they were facilitators in innovation leadership,
leadership, and sponsorship, respectively.
