Abstract

This paper presents the design a mathematical model of the hearing impairment patient's audiogram with nonrecursive discretetime system or FIR filter. By design process, use a function on MATLAB to convert the scale from audiogram and then calculate the transfer function of nonrecursive system. The experimental data used 21,41 and 61 to be order of nonrecursive system. The result show that more than 21 order of nonrecursive system give response similar as audiogram and the result is a basic model for digital hearing aid designing.
