Architecture and encourage the quality of life of personnel in Kasetsart University, Bangkhen Campus

Abstract

This study examines the opinions about architecture factors and how they improve the quality of life of personnel in the Kasetsart University, Bangkhen Campus, compares the quality of life of personnel, and analyzes the correlation between opinion toward architecture factors and quality of life of personnel. This quantitative methodology was used, with questionnaires as the tool to collect data from 377 personnel in Kasetsart University. A computer program was used for data processing and statistical data analysis. The statistics used in this study included frequency distribution, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, One-Way ANOVA, and Pearson’s Product Moment Correlation Coefficient. The results revealed that the overall opinion about architecture improving the quality of life of personnel as at a high level. There were no statistically significant differences of quality of life overall and in each aspect of personnel in the Kasetsart University, Bangkhen Campus classified by gender, age, educational level, working period, position. The opinion toward architecture factors life overall and in each aspect had a positive correlation with quality of life overall and in each aspect at the statistical significance of 0.05.
