Abstract

Thailand has become an aging society, a situation that needs to take care of the elderly, especially in the field of health promotion, by using communication for the senior citizen’s participation. It is necessary for community network’s cooperation to achieve the following:  systematically planned community health development through appropriate channels for timing and target audience; up-to-date and reliable information. Therefore, appropriate communication guidelines are needed for the community. Therefore, the author developed "Communication Guidelines for Community Engagement in Health Promotion for Aging Society with T-E-A–M Technique". T: Training and Group Coaching, E: Engagement, A: Area Based Approach, and M: Management Skills.  This will benefit primary health care workers, in applying the guidelines for community’s engagement in accordance with the context of the community, and effectively keeping pace with changes.
