การเลือกตั้งสมาชิกสภาผู้แทนราษฎรของปวงชนชาวไทย

บทคัดย่อ
บทความวิชาการนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อวิเคราะห์ประเภท ระบบ และ หลักการสำคัญของการเลือกตั้ง การเลือกตั้งสมาชิกสภาผู้แทนราษฎร และปัจจัยที่ส่งผลต่อการตัดสินใจเลือกตั้งสมาชิกสภาผู้แทนราษฎรในประเทศไทย มาเป็นกรอบในการวิเคราะห์
ผลการวิเคราะห์ พบว่า 1) การเลือกตั้งสมาชิกสภาผู้แทนราษฎรของไทยทั้ง 27 ครั้งเป็นการเลือกตั้งทั่วไป ใช้ระบบการเลือกตั้งที่หลากหลาย และมีหลักการสำคัญในการเลือกตั้งได้แก่ (1) หลักอิสระแห่งการเลือกตั้ง (2) หลักการเลือกตั้งตามกำหนดเวลา (3) หลักการเลือกตั้งอย่างบริสุทธิ์ยุติธรรม (4) หลักการใช้สิทธิเลือกตั้งอย่างเสมอภาค (5) หลักการออกเสียงโดยทั่วไป และ (6) หลักการลงคะแนนลับ 2) การเลือกตั้งสมาชิกสภา ผู้แทนราษฎร เป็นกระบวนการให้ประชาชนได้ใช้สิทธิเพื่อเลือกตัวแทนของตนเองเข้าไปทำหน้าที่แทนตนในสภาผู้แทนราษฎร มีการกำหนดจำนวน ที่มา เขตเลือกตั้ง และวิธีการเลือกตั้ง โดยการกำหนดไว้ในรัฐธรรมนูญ และกฎหมายที่เกี่ยวข้อง ส่วนปัญหาของการเลือกตั้งในสังคมไทย คือ ปัญหาการซื้อสิทธิขายเสียง ปัญหาทุจริตการเลือกตั้ง ปัญหาการแบ่งเขตเลือกตั้ง และ 3) ปัจจัยที่ส่งผลต่อการตัดสินใจเลือกตั้งสมาชิกสภาผู้แทนราษฎร ได้แก่ (1) ด้านนโยบายหาเสียงของผู้สมัคร (2) ด้านการหาเสียงของพรรคการเมือง (3) ด้านคุณลักษณะของพรรคการเมือง (4) ด้านคุณลักษณะของผู้สมัคร (5) ด้านผลงานที่ผ่านมาของผู้สมัคร และ(6) ผลประโยชน์หรือผลตอบแทนที่ได้รับ
