Vocational Manpower Development According to the Policy and Strategy on Target Industries of the Country

Abstract

The preparation for human resources development to cope with the competitiveness in the World needed the effective manpower planning in order to serve the needs of industries and the rapid change of technology in the free trading environment. Information on classification of industries, characteristics of preferable manpower, and data on the needs of manpower with its demand were taken into account for manpower development in line with the policy and strategy on target industries of the country. The development of vocational manpower with necessary competence acceptable by the industries and vocational graduates well equipped with professional qualification, competency, experience, and knowledge would be expected for working and career development commencing in the future respectively.
