The study of public mind of students for the best practice of student affairs administration: A case study of the Faculty of Industrial Education, Rajamangala University of Technology Suvarnabhumi

Abstract
The purposes of the research were to 1) study public mind of bachelor’s degree students 2) compare the public mind of bachelor’s degree students and 3) find appropriate approaches for the best practice of student affairs administration of bachelor’s degree students. The samples for this research study were 246 students enrolled in 2021 academic year of Faculty of Industrial Education, Rajamangala University of Technology Suvarnabhumi. The number of samples was acquired by a proportional stratified random sampling. The research instrument was questionnaire. The data analyses used were means, standard deviation, independent samples t-test, one-way analysis of variance (one-way ANOVA), and the Scheffe method of multiple comparisons.
The research results were shown that 1) public mind of bachelor’s degree students were at a high level, 2) public mind of students of different genders were different in which female students have higher public mind than male students, students in different departments have different public mind, in which electrical engineering students have higher public mind than industrial engineering students, in addition, students who study in different class levels have different public mind, in which fifth year students have higher public mind than third year students and, 3) the appropriate approaches for the best practice of student affairs administration of bachelor’s degree are to promote and focus on public mind because students are considered a youth group that is important to the development of the country, including setting activities to promote public awareness to develop good learning for the coexistence of society.
